Alcohol (ROH, ETOH, IPOH, NPOH, alcohol, ethanol, isopropanol, propanol) is used in the formulation of inks, varnishes and coatings.

DEC activated carbon solvent recovery units (SRUs): different technologies and processes for safe and efficient recovery of Alcohol (ROH, ETOH, IPOH, alcohol, ethanol, isopropanol).

The DEC.RSG™ process works by TSA (thermal swing adsorption): SLA flows through the adsorbent (activated carbon beds), and the solvent is adsorbed. The desorption media (hot nitrogen) heats up the activated carbon, which releases the previously adsorbed solvents. The solvents are then condensed and collected. A safe and efficient process that has been used to recover Alcohols (ROH, ETOH, IPOH, alcohol, ethanol, isopropanol) streams, alone or in mixtures, since 40 years: it is the preferred process for recovering solvents from activated carbon beds. First installation of the SRU, for Alcohol (ROH, ETOH, IPOH, NPOH, alcohol, ethanol, isopropanol, propanol) recovery is dated back to 1980s.
